Donaldson’s Ultracool (UC) process water chillers are available in the Ultracool Mini (1/4 ton to 10 ton) and Ultracool Midi (11.5 to -25 ton) models. They are safe for the environment, using non-ozone depleting refrigerate. Standard process water chiller features include:

The Donaldson Ultracool Mini series available in nine units with cooling performance between ˝ and 10 ton, can be mounted on wheels to enable chilling at central or decentral locations. This small process water chiller uses environmentally friendly refrigerate R134a, allowing ambient temperatures up to 122° F.
For cooling performances from 11.5 to 25 ton, the Donaldson Ultracool Midi series offers high cooling performance and low energy consumption through generously sized heat exchangers and high efficiency refrigerant (R-407C). Additionally, the Midi model includes two independent fridge circuits with refrigerant pressure gauges for each.
Donaldson uses only the highest quality components in its process water chillers to reduce energy consumption and ensure stable operation. Centrifugal Grundfos pumps with Sic-Sic mechanical seal ensure a quiet run and permit flexibility in flow adjustments while maintaining the pump in the optimal pressure range. High-efficiency stainless steel plate evaporators allow Donaldson Ultracool water chillers to save up to 30% in energy consumption compared to internal coils. Thermostatic expansion valves automatically adjust to the working conditions of the chiller protecting the compressor from liquid refrigerant compared to capillary tubes. And a large, oversized cold-water reservoir reduced compressor ON/OFF cycles and improves water temperature stability.
Donaldson also manufacturers a complete line of industrial process water chillers ranging from 25-500 tons. The Donaldson CH Series process water chillers available in a variety of models to meet capacity correction factors, recirculates clean coolant at a consistent temperature and pressure increase the stability and productivity of all water-cooled machinery, compressors and instruments. This secure and repeatable production process is ideal for a variety of chiller applications including electronic devices, water-cooled air/gas compressors, food processing, injection molding and high speed rollers.
