The next generation of filter for mid-pressure hydraulic applications showcased at ConExpo – Con/Agg 2008 in Las Vegas

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – March 11 – Donaldson Company, (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, announced the company will showcase the new Donaldson Duramax® filter – the Duramax HNK hydraulic spin-on filter – for mid-pressure applications at ConExpo – Con/Agg 2008 in Las Vegas in March. The redesigned Duramax filter provides unsurpassed high performance filtration and flexibility.

Unique to the new Duramax filter is the ability to choose between a spin-on or bowl cartridge style filter without changing heads. The new filter interface makes service easier and provides reliable sealing without having to torque to specification.

The Duramax HNK hydraulic spin-on filter is manufactured using the breakthrough Synteq™ XP filter media which delivers 5 micron absolute efficiency with a holding capacity of a 12 micron filter – a necessity to meet ever-increasing system cleanliness requirements. Customer benefits include extended filter life, higher capacity and lower pressure drop. Typical Duramax HNK applications include:
