DONALDSON COMPANY FORMS AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE BUSINESS UNIT.
MINNEAPOLIS, Jan. 5 — Donaldson Company (NYSE: DCI) today announced the formation of the Aerospace and Defense business unit. The new organization, a merger of the company’s aircraft and defense groups, serves customers in general aviation, commercial aviation and military aviation and provides filtration solutions for land, sea and air defense platforms.
“The synergy of technologies being deployed by the aircraft and defense groups makes them a natural business fit,” said Sheila Peyraud, General Manager of the Aerospace and Defense Business Unit. “Bringing them together into a single unit strengthens Donaldson’s engineering capabilities and product offerings for a broader customer base.”
Donaldson currently provides filtration solutions for Boeing and Airbus commercial jets, B52 and C17 military aircraft, piston-powered airplanes, Army helicopters, M1 Abrams tanks, Stryker vehicles, Bradley Fighting Vehicles, M109 Self Propelled Howitzers, M88 recovery vehicles, M113 Armored Personnel Carriers, FMTV trucks and gen-sets.
