DONALDSON RECEIVES BAE SYSTEMS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – February 26, 2009 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to announce that the company's Aerospace and Defense operation located in the UK is the recipient of a 2007-2008 Achievement Award from BAE Systems. BAE Systems is a premier global defense, security and aerospace company (OTC:BAESY). It recognizes Donaldson's hard work, ideas, actions and behaviors in making the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked) "CVR(T)" upgrade program a success for the BAE's UK MOD.
Donaldson Filter Components Limited, located in Hull, UK, upgraded BAE's CVR(T) vehicles with a new design utilizing Donaldson Strata™ panels and PowerCore™ filtration technology. These military vehicles perform a variety of combat roles for the UK and are heavily used in high-dust areas such as Afghanistan. Pairing Donaldson Strata Panels with PowerCore filtration technology manufactured with Ultra-Web® media offered a complete filtration system that is light-weight and highly efficient with minimal maintenance requirements.
