DONALDSON HEPA AIRCRAFT CABIN RECIRCULATION FILTERS ACHIEVE VIRAL AND BACTERIAL REMOVAL EFFICIENCIES GREATER THAN 99.999%.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – May 8, 2009 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to announce that an independent research study conducted by Nelson Laboratories reported that a Donaldson HEPA filter media achieved a viral removal efficiency greater than 99.99909% and a bacterial removal efficiency greater than 99.99996%. Beyond the protection offered by a standard HEPA filter, Donaldson also offers an enhanced microbial barrier in its BIOAdvantage™ Antimicrobial HEPA Filtration Technology. The BIOAdvantage Antimicrobial HEPA filter media was also tested by the experts at Nelson Laboratories and achieved viral removal efficiency greater than 99.9996% and bacterial removal efficiency greater than 99.99996%.
