DONALDSON'S AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE GROUP COLLABORATES UNDER ONE BRAND IDENTITY
MINNEAPOLIS – June 8, 2009 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, announces the new brand identity of the Aerospace and Defense Group. The Aerospace and Defense Group consolidated its existing brands -- Aerospace Filtration Systems (AFS), Le Bozec Filtration & Systems (Le Bozec), and Western Filter -- in order to provide a singular customer experience and expand the product offering available to customers.
"This decision was made to better distinguish Donaldson's Aerospace and Defense Group as a leader in filtration solutions. This change will allow for a united Aerospace and Defense Group and a singular customer experience. Collectively, we will now offer a full range of filtration for each aerospace and defense market segment," said Sheila Peyraud, General Manager of Aerospace and Defense at Donaldson Company.
As part of this initiative, AFS, Le Bozec and Western Filter will transition to the Donaldson brand. Aerospace Filtration Systems will continue to operate out of Saint Louis, MO and offer superior barrier filters for the rotorcraft industry. Le Bozec will continue to serve the European Aerospace and Defense market and maintain an office in Paris, France. Western Filter will continue to operate out of Valencia, CA and provide liquid filtration to the aerospace and defense industry.
The Donaldson Aerospace and Defense Group headquarters will remain in Minneapolis, MN. Current Donaldson customers will now be offered an extended product line due to this integration.
