With over 30 years of expertise in compressed air filtration and separation, Donaldson Compressed Air & Gas delivers the most efficient and cost-effective pre-filters and filter housings engineered to provide lower pressure drop, longer filter life, quick and easy element change-outs and more predictable maintenance.

Ultra-Filter (DF) Standard/Superplus
Compressed Air Filters
Donaldson Ultra-Filter (DF) filters are designed for high quality filtration of compressed air or gas in a wide of applications. The total filter design concept of the filter combines high performance, greater efficiency, ease of use, flexibility, and safety. The high performance is achieved by the flow-optimized filter design, paired with innovative filtration technology; this reduces pressure loss by 50% compared to conventional filters. The unique bayonet lock ensures that the filter cannot be opened under pressure for increased safety. You will find greater energy savings are achieved by the timely replacement of a used filter element. This is determined by the Economizer that continuously measures the different pressures. An integrated microprocessor evaluates the measurement data and compares the higher energy costs caused by pressure loss with the costs of a new filter element. The DF series is available in nine sizes, six filter elements types, and perfectly meeting all industrial air purification application requirements.

Ultrair M/S Coalescing Filter Element
Donaldson Ultrair M and Ultrair S coalescing filter elements are designed for removal of water, oil aerosols, and solid particles from compressed air and gas industrial applications. Ultrair M/S elements utilize a three-dimensional polyester microfiber fleece media, which is ideal for coalescing and draining away oil and water aerosols in the air stream.

Ultrair V Coalescing Filter Element
Donaldson Ultrair V coalescing filter element is designed for removal of water, oil aerosols, and solid particles from compressed air and gas industrial applications. Ultrair V element utilize a three-dimensional polyester microfiber fleece media, which is ideal for coalescing and draining away oil and water aerosols in the air stream.

Ultrapoly P Particle Filter Element
Donaldson Ultrapoly P prefilter element is designed for removal of solid contaminants in gases. Ultrapoly P utilizes a highly porous sintered polyethylene media for absolute filtration of particles down to 25 μm in size. The primary filtration mechanism of this media is sieving, which captures most particles near the surface allowing for regeneration of the element and reducing operating cost.

Ultraporex B Particle Filter Element
Donaldson Ultraporex B prefilter element is designed for removal of particulate contaminants in gases. Ultraporex B utilize a highly porus sintered media for absolute filtration of particles down to 25 μm in size. Although the Ultraporex B is primarily used as a particulate prefilter, a simple reversal of flow through the element allows the Ultraporex B to be used as an effective course coalescing filter element, removing bulk quantities of water and oil from an air or gas stream.

Ultrac A Activated Carbon Vapor Filter Element
Donaldson Ultrac A adsorption filter element incorporate two stages of filtration. The first stage contains activated carbon for removal of oil, hydrocarbon and odor vapor through adsorption. The second filtration stage consists of binder-free borosilicate depth media, support by microfiber polyamide fleece, for removal of particulate contamination in the air or gas stream. These filtration stages are followed and supported by an outer stainless steel core, which also protects the element against pressure shock.

AG Compressed Air Filter Housings
Donaldson AG Compressed Air filter housings are designed with all of the features required to make these the most efficient and cost effective filters for your compressed air system. Featuring a three-part aluminum design allows for easy disassembly and element change-out. Low pressure drop is achieved through optimal flow-path design. The tapered bowl and non-turbulent lower filter zone assure that no condensate gets re-entrained in the air stream. AG filter housings are equipped with our programmable Economizer differential pressure gauge, which notifies maintenance personnel of the optimal point at which to change the filter element. For coalescing pre-filters, AG filter housings with optional Ultramat zero air loss drain valve which assures that no compressed air is lost when liquid condensate is drained. All AG housings and elements are available in silicon-free configurations.

SG Compressed Air Filter Housings
Donaldson SG steel filter housings are designed with all of the features required to make these the most efficient and cost effective filters for your compressed air system. The flanged housings offer low pressure drop through optimal flow-path design. The SG standard filter housings comes with an Econometer differential pressure gauge and pneumatic drain and are available with an optional Economizer differential pressure gauge and Ultramat zero air-loss condensate drain.

Ultradepth™ FF, MF & SMF Filter Elements
High performance Donaldson Ultradepth filter elements are engineered with a patented design process to create a two-stage filtration process within one element. A binder-free borosilicate glass fiber media eliminates any potential contamination and prevents particulate from clogging the filter mesh. The Ultradepth offers excellent filtration efficiencies of up to 99.99999% 0.01 μm particles providing longer filter life, higher quality air, less maintenance, and more cost-effective filtration.

Synteq™ XP M/S Coalescing Filter Elements
The new high performance filter media Synteq XP combines two innovations in one product: an engineered blend of fibers with proprietary, resin-free bonding system. Donaldson Synteq XP filter element combines the highest filtration performance with high stability, exceptional dirt-holding capacity and very good flow rates at low differential pressure.

Ultrapoly™ PE Particulate Elements
Donaldson Ultrapoly PE particulate filter elements are made with aluminum end-caps, double o-ring seals and sintered polyethylene media for effective filtration down to 5 μm. PE elements offer the additional advantage of being fully regenerable.

Ultraporex™ SB High Temperature Filter Elements
For high temperature applications up to 248  F, Donaldson Ultraporex SB filter elements are made with sintered bronze media, aluminum end-caps and double o-ring seals. SB elements are available with three retention ratings: 5, 25 or 50 μm.

Ultrac AK Activated Carbon Filter Elements
The Donaldson Ultrac AK Adsorption filter element utilizes a two-stage filtration process for removal of oil vapor and other hydrocarbons. This patented two-stage design allows for a large surface area resulting in low pressure drop, long element life and no carry-over of carbon particles in the process air.

Cyclone Water Separators
Donaldson DF-C Cyclone Separators deliver high separation efficiency at low pressure drop through an optimal flow-path design. Available in six different sizes with a flow range from 70 to 647 scfm at 100 psig.

Donaldson Cyclone Water Separators AG-Z & LS Series are designed for removal of liquid water and particulate from compressed air and gases. The AG-Z (aluminum) Cyclone Water Separator has three-piece aluminum housing while the LS (carbon steel) incorporate two-piece carbon steel housing. Both designs include swirl vanes allowing for efficient liquid removal with low pressure drop. Standard configurations are equipped with float drains while Superplus versions are equipped with Ultramat zero air-loss drain valves.

HD High Pressure Filters
Donaldson HD High Pressure filter housings are designed for the purification of compressed air and gases in an industrial operation. The housings made out of two parts offer, due to an optimized construction, low differential pressure at high flow rates. A multitude of housings with different connections allows you to match your specific needs to any application. The HD has 8 different housing sizes available ranging from ¼” to 2” and pressure rating from 400 psig to 5,800 psig.
