This advanced technology eliminates ineffective and inefficient purification, which can lead to system and/or equipment damage and higher operating costs.
This top-of-the-line filter assembly has a three-part aluminum housing design to allow for easy disassembly and element change out. Low pressure drop is achieved through optimal flow-path design. Its tapered bowl and non-turbulent lower filter zone assure that no condensate gets re-entrained in the airstream. Other important features of the Donaldson AG Superplus industrial filter housing include:
- Ultradepth® FF, MF & SMF Coalescing/Particular Filter Elements – Our unique design creates a two-stage filtration process within one element. Our patented Ultrair® binder-free borosilicate glass fiber media achieves retention rates of 0.01 µm particulates in the Donaldson SMF element at 99.99999%.
- Ultrac® AK Activated Carbon Absorption Filter Element – Utilizes a two-stage filtration process for absolute retention of oil vapor and other hydrocarbons.
Both filter elements are built with inner and outer stainless steel support cores and aluminum end caps for maximum strength and longevity. A double o-ring seal assures absolutely no blow-by of unfiltered air.
- Economizer differential pressure gauge – Programmable to calculate the optimum point at which to change the filter element and minimize operating costs. An indicator light alerts when change out is required. Cost reductions of up to 70% have been achieved using the Economizer.
- Ultramat UFM-T Zero Air-Loss Condensate Drain Valve – Using electronic liquid level sensors, the Ultramat drain valve requires no moving parts as it minimizes the emulsification of the condensate to aid in the oil/water separation downstream.
- SH Steel Housings – Two-piece SH steel housings with flanged connections are available in a nominal flow range of 650 to 22,000 scfm.
