DONALDSON SPONSORS 2008 BAJA SAE OFF-ROAD RACE
MINNEAPOLIS, MN – May 22, 2008 – Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to announce the company is a sponsor of this years' Baja SAE design series and off-road race to be held at Caterpillar's Edwards Demonstration Area in Peoria, Illinois, May 29-31.
Baja SAE is an intercollegiate design competition run by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Universities from all over the world design and build small off-road vehicles. The goal in Baja SAE racing is to design, build and race off-road vehicles that can withstand the harshest elements of rough terrain. The vehicles used in Baja SAE racing are often similar to dune buggies.
