Our line of Tetratex® expanded PTFE membrane films for Microfiltration applications have exceptionally high flow rates and excellent retention characteristics. They have been bacterial-challenge proven and toxicity tested to USP 23, Class VI, and they are chemically inert, clean, non-shedding, have minimal extractables.
The membrane pore sizes range from 0.05 micron up to 1.5 microns and are also available thermobonded to polypropylene and polyester substrates. These materials can be used in pleated cartridge filters for liquid and gaseous filtration applications such as pharmaceutical, electronic and sterile air.
