Our large selection of ePTFE membrane films solve problems in a wide range of applications, including Microfiltration, Medical, Venting, Liquid Filtration and Fuel Cells.

In addition to our standard product line of ePTFE membrane films and laminates, we also provide custom lamination to meet your specific needs. If you have a unique requirement, contact us and we will help recommend a product to solve your problem.
Tetratex ePTFE membranes are manufactured from 100% PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) resin, and is dimensionally and chemically stable in almost any chemically aggressive environment and in temperatures ranging from -450° to + 500° F. Our films are thermobonded or adhesive laminated to substrates such as polyester, polypropylene and polyethylene and can be treated to repel oils as well as water, using our patented oleophobic treatment. Our films range in pore size from 0.05 micron to 7.0 micron, thickness of 0.2 mils to 10 mils, and porosity of 80% to 90%.

Medical
Our line of Tetratex® expanded PTFE membrane films are hydrophobic and oleophobic*, making them a perfect fit in the Medical Market.

Microfiltration
Our line of Tetratex® expanded PTFE membrane films for Microfiltration applications have exceptionally high flow rates and excellent retention characteristics. They have been bacterial-challenge proven and toxicity tested to USP 23, Class VI, and they are chemically inert, clean, non-shedding, have minimal extractables.

Vent Filters & Breathers
Tetratex® microporous expanded PTFE membrane films are naturally hydrophobic and can be used as permeable water barriers for venting in gas sensors, acoustical applications, pressure venting , industrial battery venting, electronics and more. Oleophobic gas-permeable venting materials are also available to provide oil resistance but allow gases to vent through the membrane.
