DONALDSON MEMBRANES RECEIVES CHAIRMAN’S CUP AWARD
RECOGNIZING MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE
IVYLAND, PA – October –Donaldson Membranes, a division of Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to be the recipient of the company’s “Chairman’s Cup” award for manufacturing excellence for the second consecutive quarter.
Conceived by Donaldson Chairman of the Board Bill Cook, the Chairman’s Cup recognizes manufacturing excellence within the organization. Each quarter, one Donaldson domestic manufacturing facility is selected based on plant rankings, Lean manufacturing improvements and exceptional activity in areas such as transfers, Oracle and labor relations.
Donaldson Membranes was pleased to receive this award on the heels of another important accomplishment for the Ivyland facility. In the spring of 2007, the facility conducted a comprehensive customer satisfaction survey with a large number of the ePTFE’s customers and received excellent ratings in the areas of product and service quality.
