MINNEAPOLIS, MN, USA -- January 20, 2003 — Donaldson Company, Inc., leading manufacturer of industrial filters, announces the availability of the 2003 edition of its GTS-400 “Replacement Filters and Spare Parts Catalog” for gas turbine, compressor and generator air filtration applications.
The 50-page, full color catalog details Donaldson aftermarket filter cartridges, panels, and pre-filters, as well spare parts for Donaldson filtration systems, including the GDX and TTD (self-cleaning) and the GDS, CFS, and V-house (non-self-cleaning) models.
“In this edition,” Val Peterson, Director of End-User Sales, says, “we’ve added more panel filters and more technical information that will be helpful to turbine operators. For instance, we show how up to $7700 per year can be saved on water washing.”
The catalog also contains a 6-page section conversion, modification, and upgrade (CM&U) activities that operators will find useful for improving the performance of current filter systems. For instance, retrofitting a cooling module on a system can significantly increase power output. Adding Donaldson D-Fog can prevent the spike in pressure drop that fog typically causes in the filter system.
The catalog also features a new filter media that can help boost turbine output -- Donaldson Spider-WebÒ XP.
