MINNEAPOLIS, June 4 — Donaldson Company (NYSE:DCI), a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, introduced today the Donaldson HRK10 in-line hydraulic filter, a low pressure, high flow filter for industrial hydraulic applications.
HRK10 features include rugged all-steel construction, Donaldson’s proprietary Synteq® filter media and unique multi-valve bypass design for superior operating performance.
The HRK10 includes Twist & Lift cover design that eliminates the need to remove bolts, reducing the time and cost of service. Also, the filter attaches to the bypass assembly with a finger-activated clip, creating a convenient method for element removal. HRK10 units feature standard fluorocarbon seals making it compatible with many hydraulic fluids. A visual service indicator is standard on the HRK10, however, it may be equipped with an optional electrical service indicator.
A variety of replacement element choices are available for the HRK 10 with media efficiency ratings ranging from 4 to 25 microns at Beta 1000. The HRK10 is targeted for demanding industrial applications, such as mining, offshore, in-plant, cooling circuits, bulk oil and fuel, and return line/suction. Donaldson has designed the improved HRK10 to be compatible with the HEK11 filter; use HRK10 elements in HEK11 installation for better performance.
