Hearing Device Protection
Hearing aid users rely on the device’s microphone and receiver as their connection to ambient sound, so it is essential to protect both from contaminants that could impair their effectiveness. Donaldson’s acoustically transparent filtration products provide the microphone and receiver with an effective barrier to dirt, dust, hairspray, oils, perspiration, and water.
d-Guard™ is an acoustically transparent filter that protects hearing aid microphones and can easily be press-fit or assembled into BTE hearing aids as a standard part.
  Sensor Vent
Sensors are used in a variety of environments that could subject them to harmful contaminants, such as particulates, liquids, oils, water vapor, and harmful gases. Donaldson vents protect the sensors from this contamination without compromising the design, function, or manufacturability of the devices.

Screw Vent
The Screw Vent provides protection from particles, water, oils, and liquids while allowing pressure equalization in micro-environments. This durable, threaded vent is easily integrated into existing equipment and can be used in a variety of applications including sensors, protective cases, lighting enclosures, appliances and general enclosures where a protective vent is required.
