DONALDSON CHEMCORE AMC FILTRATION TECHNOLOGY RECEIVES CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTS MAGAZINE 2007 EXPERTS' CHOICE AWARD

MINNEAPOLIS, May 1, 2007 — Donaldson Company, Inc. (NYSE:DCI) a leading, worldwide provider of filtration systems, is pleased to be the recipient of Controlled Environments MagazineŽ, a Vicon publication, 2007 Experts' Choice Award for its ChemCore™ filter, an innovative alternative to packed-bed carbon filters for airborne molecular contamination (AMC) control.

Annually, Controlled Environments Magazine recognizes and rewards superior products, technologies and facilities in the contamination prevention and controlled environment industry. An independent panel of industry experts reviews nominations and selects winners in a variety of categories. Donaldson's ChemCore filtration technology was recognized as the superior product in the Cleanroom / Cleaning Equipment / Components category.

"We are pleased to receive this recognition for our ChemCore AMC filtration technology," said Peggy A. Herrmann, vice president of Global Disk Drive, Semiconductor, Fuel Cell, and Venting Solutions at Donaldson. "Third-party endorsements, such as the 2007 Experts' Choice Awards, further demonstrate Donaldson's commitment to delivering high value contamination control solutions to our customers."

Introduced in 2006, Donaldson's ChemCore filters are used in critical process environments to remove base and acid gases from ambient air, control corrosion, salt formation, and other adverse effects on chemical processes. An open channel alternative to packed-bed carbon filters, ChemCore is capable of removing contaminants such as ammonia (NH3) and sulfur dioxide (SO2), with an initial removal efficiency rate of greater than 99 percent. Additionally, ChemCore filters are lightweight and can be sized and shaped to need. They offer lower pressure drop, long life, high removal efficiency and easy installation.
