HAAN (October 9, 2018) – Donaldson laid the foundation for the expansion of its Haan, Germany manufacturing plant with a ground-breaking ceremony on October 9, 2018. The construction of a new hall enables Donaldson to meet the demand for modern filtration technologies, especially for the food and beverage industry.
"Our future growth requires additional production and laboratory capacities," explains Heiner Carstensen, Managing Director Germany at Donaldson. "We are delighted by the confidence demonstrated by the company in strengthening our presence here in Haan.”
Above all, the factory expansion ensures additional steps in the development and production of filtration solutions for sterile air, steam and liquids. The commissioning of the new building is planned for late summer 2019.
Karl-Uwe Bütof, Head Secretary at the North Rhine Westphalia Economics Ministry, spoke at the celebration about the role of the state government and the networking of science, research and economy in the age of digitalization.
Haan’s mayor, Dr. Bettina Warnecke, spoke to the invited guests and was delighted that Donaldson filters will continue to go "from Haan to the world". In addition to Bütof and Warnecke, the invitees included Michaela Noll, Member of the German Bundestag (MdB), and District Manager Martin M. Richter.
We offer complete process filtration solutions for the high integrity needs, from source to application, for liquid, sterile air, and steam.
