When your organization requires a high volume of purified breathing air for industrial or medical applications, the Ultrapure HL-ALG range of heatless regenerated adsorption dryers delivers compressed air at pressures up to 16 bar.
To meet your needs even in high ambient temperatures or environments with elevated humidity levels, the drying process – based on adsorption of water molecules out of a gas stream using hygroscopic desiccant materials – can achieve pressure dewpoints of -40°C or lower at 7 bar. Also, CO2, SO2 and NOX are removed during the drying process.
The regeneration of saturated desiccant is achieved by using a partial stream of dry, purified compressed air for the desorption of water and other contaminants.
In the AK/OX stage, activated carbon adsorbs oil vapor and hydrocarbons, while a special catalyst converts carbon monoxide (CO) into carbon dioxide (CO₂). The system includes two pre-filters and an after-filter for added purification.
Constructed of steel, the pressure vessels and pipe system include long-life shuttle valves and solenoid membrane valves for added reliability and ease of maintenance.
