Donaldson Company and our employees are committed to making a difference and strengthening the communities of which we are a part. We are extremely proud of the generations of employees who have established an expansive history of philanthropy, generously giving their time, energy and aid to various local and regional organizations and projects.
Australian Drought Relief
The drought in Australia has left many farmers devastated, with starving livestock and dwindling crops. Donaldson sent a semi-trailer load of hay to struggling farmers in Lightning Ridge, Queensland.
Our employees also came together to bake, donate, sell raffle tickets and raise money. The generosity was overwhelming, resulting in 46,000 litres of water and 5 additional bales of hay delivered to drought-affected areas.
MS Sydney to the Gong
Employees braved bad weather to participate in the annual MS Sydney to the Gong ride, finishing the 58km and raising money to support people living with multiple sclerosis.
Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer
1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. Donaldson employees band together to raise vital funds for cancer research, prevention programs, advocacy and support services.
Jeans for Genes Day
Donaldson employees unite by wearing their favorite jeans or denim outfits and donating money to support genetic research. Every dollar raised helps scientists at Children’s Medical Research Institute discover treatments and cures in order to help give every child the opportunity to live a long and healthy life.
World’s Greatest Shave
Bruce, a Donaldson Liquid Product Manager, participated in the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation by shaving his head and beard for blood cancer.
Employees gave up alcohol for the entire month of July. The money raised went to people affected by cancer to improve patient care and comfort.
