The FLK/FLA series are in-line suction filters of bowl cartridge type. It is available in mulitiple housing lengths for design flexibility.

Filter Servicing

1. Check the filter service indicator
   Check to see that the OEM specified service interval has been reached or that the service indicator shows that the filter is due for servicing.
   
   
2. Turn system power off and bleed pressure
   Ensure that the hydraulic system is turned off.
   Check that there is no pressure present.
   
   
3. Remove the housing cover
   
   
4. Remove the used filter, gasket and spring (if applicable)
   Properly dispose of the cartridge according to local regulations.
   
   
5. Clean the filter mount, cap and inside the housing
   Clean out any sediment from the inside of the filter housing.
   
   
6. Inspect the new filter cartridge for damage
   Check the new filter you will be installing for any shipping and handling damage. Do not install a damaged filter.
   
   
7. Lubricate the filter gasket with a thin layer of clean motor oil
   
   
8. Install new filter cartridge and spring (if applicable)
   Install filter into the housing.
   
   
9. Reinstall the housing cover
   
   
10. Bleed the system and check for leaks
