SRK tank-mounted suction and return assemblies/filters are popular choices for hydrostatic transmissions. The patented design uses an integrated main flow and by-pass flow filter, capable of delivering filtered and pressurized oil, even in by-pass situations.

Spin-On Filter Servicing

1. Check the filter service indicator
   Check to see that the OEM specified service interval has been reached or that the service indicator shows that the filter is due for servicing.
   
   
2. Turn system off and release pressure
   Ensure that the hydraulic system is turned off.
   Check that there is no pressure present.
   
   
3. Unscrew and remove the old filter and gasket
   Properly dispose of the used filter according to local regulations.
    
4. Wipe the filter head with a clean cloth
   
   
5. Inspect the new filter for damage
   Check the new filter you will be installing for any shipping and handling damage. Do not install a damaged filter.
   
   
6. Lubricate threads
   
   
7. Apply a thin film of motor oil to the gasket
   
   
8. Align threads – spin filter until gasket contact
   Fit the housing to the filter head as instructed on the housing.
   
   
9. Follow the icons on the filter to tighten
   Do not over-tighten.
   
   
10. Bleed the system and check for leaks
