MINNEAPOLIS (January 20, 2019) — Donaldson Company (NYSE: DCI), a leading worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, presented its manufacturing facility in Ivyland, Pennsylvania with the company’s DPS (Donaldson Production System) Cup Award.
Every quarter, Donaldson reviews the operations performance of the company’s manufacturing plants and distribution centers in the Americas. Performance is measured in six key areas: budget management, customer delivery, customer quality, employee safety, inventory management and productivity. Based on these critically important metrics, an operation is presented with the award to recognize the best performance. Ivyland Plant Manager Ed Schoenharl and his team won the Cup in Donaldson’s first quarter (August - October) of fiscal year 2019.
The Ivyland facility celebrated their win with an in-plant event. Noting Ivyland’s performance, Donaldson Operations Director Thomas Kibwage said, “We congratulate and recognize the Ivyland team for their focus on customers, quality and safety. These important factors impact the success of our entire company, and their efforts contribute to Donaldson’s continued leadership in the filtration industry.”
The Ivyland facility has over 70,000 square feet of operational space, employs approximately 50 people and serves the industrial filtration and technical materials markets.
