Q. Tell us about your work experience at Donaldson?
Vinod: I started working at Donaldson in 2008 as an Export Administrator. I have a qualification in Logistics & Supply Chain and so in 2015 I was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor, where I led the team in effectively driving enhanced customer experience. This made for a perfect foundation for my current role as Regional Logistics and Facilities Manager.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
Vinod: Apart from the great people, every day brings new challenges that allow me to learn and grow in my career and as an individual.
Q. What does your job as Warehouse Manager entail?
Fulufhelo: The Warehouse Manager is the central point for suppliers, clients and transport companies, making sure that we receive, store and distribute the right product parts. I am responsible for managing the system, processes and most importantly the team in the warehouse - together everyone achieves more.
Q. What is the best thing about working at Donaldson?
Fulufhelo: I am surrounded by very kind people that step in for each other. The respect and help you get is priceless. I almost feel at home and we’re all treated the same. Donaldson’s values; respect, commitment and integrity are encrypted in all the employees.
Q. What does it mean to you to work for Donaldson?
Carin: Working for a global company is a privilege and should not be seen as a given. Donaldson has given me the opportunity to grow my career from Receptionist to IAF AM Sales Manager. I have interacted with different people through the years and I have learnt so much from them. I believe Donaldson has helped me to be a better person and for that I will always be grateful.
Q. What does success within the IAF division look like?
Carin: Retaining all the replacement business in the field. Creating a hassel free experience for our customers.
Q: Tell us about your role as Customer Services Rep?
Cheramy: My role, in a nutshell, is to ensure that our customers are happy with the service we provide. My duties on a daily basis include receiving and following up on orders and deliveries, providing feedback on stock availability and directing any queries to the relevant Donaldson employees.
Q: Can you describe a successful day at work?
Cheramy: A successful day is when I have given accurate feedback and processed orders timeously; ultimately ensuring that I have a happy customer the next day.
