Available Media Types
Cellulose – Engine fuel media is most commonly a pleated cellulose base material. It's a cost effective media that effectively meets application efficiency and capacity requirements.
Treated cellulose (for fuel-filter-water-separators FFWS) – Treating cellulose with a silicone based material allows for effective water separation. Typically, this media is used on the suction side of the fuel system to remove harmful water and coarse particulate contaminant.
Our Exclusive Synteq™ for use in FFWS – uses both cellulose and a meltblown synthetic layer to achieve higher levels of fuel filtration performance. This double-layer media increases particulate holding capacity (longer filter life) and is a high-performance water separator. It offers high efficiency emulsified water separation and can be used on both the suction and pressure sides of fuel systems.
