Donaldson Receives Key ISO/TS 16949 Automotive Certification

Verification of Donaldson as a Quality Supplier for Automotive

MINNEAPOLIS (March 2, 2015) – Donaldson Venting, supplier of hydrophobic and oleophobic vents that protect automotive components from pressure fluctuations, liquids, and harmful contaminants, announced today it has received ISO/TS 16949 Automotive Certification. This rigorous third-party certification validates the organization’s focus and commitment to continuous improvement and its assurance of high quality parts – all key to extending the life of automotive components such as headlamps, sensors, powertrains, and fluid reservoirs.

It will also be required to pass annual quality audits by the independent third party. The ISO/TS 16949 certification earned by Donaldson Venting applies to the Venting business unit, located in Minnesota, Belgium, China, and Japan.
