Oilfreepac™ HL-OFP Heatless Adsorption Dryers

Overview

When your operations demand reliable drying and purification of compressed air and nitrogen – even in high ambient temperatures and humidity – the Oilfreepac^™ HL-OFP dryer range delivers. Engineered for applications up to 16 bar, these dryers provide a robust and efficient system for achieving low pressure dewpoints even in the most challenging conditions.

The heatless regenerated unit’s drying process is based on the adsorption of water molecules out of the gas stream using hygroscopic desiccant materials enabling pressure dewpoints of -40°C at 7 bar. Oil vapor and other hydrocarbons are then removed from the stream via an activated carbon adsorber. The system includes two pre-filters and an after-filter for added purification.

Constructed with steel, the pressure vessels and pipe system utilize a press-fit design and include long-life shuttle valves and solenoid membrane valves for added reliability and ease of maintenance.

Activated Carbon Adsorber

Provides high adsorption capacity for removal of oil vapors, hydrocarbons and odors and long service life. Includes integrated oil indicator for monitoring of residual oil content to support reliability and performance.

Standard Pre- and After-Filters

High-efficiency filters featuring innovative UltraPleat™ media technology add to purification with the removal of solid particles and oil and water aerosols.

Electronic Circuit Board Controller

Enables automated control of all phases of the drying and regeneration cycle. Superplus models with the Ultraconomy dewpoint monitoring and control system can automatically trigger the regeneration process.

Electronic Zero-Loss Condensate Drain

Condensate is collected in the system’s pre-filters and is automatically drained without any loss of compressed air under normal operating conditions. Built-in alarm warns of excessive condensate build-up.
