Overview
The LifeTec™ PES-WH filter element is a sterile-grade, pleated, highly asymmetric Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter for sterile filtration and microbial stabilization. Its hydrophilic PES membrane features a highly asymmetric pore structure with pore size that decreases toward the center, creating a highly porous medium that maintains consistent porosity and impurity retention throughout service life without shedding or unloading contaminants.
The PES-WH filter element’s highly asymmetric PES membrane is engineered for higher permeability and lower pressure drop compared to symmetric membranes; This design helps support contaminant loading and fouling management, which may contribute to longer service life across a wide range of liquid processing applications.
