Powertrain Vents

Donaldson enclosure protection vents for Powertrain combine filtration and venting technology for advanced component protection. The compact, direct attachment vents can fit directly into a drivetrain component or connect to a simplified hose configuration. These vents seal and guard against water, external contaminants and harsh automotive fluids and provide continuous pressure equalization to protect against over-pressure or under-pressure during vehicle operation.

Combined Filtration and Venting Technology 

• Oleophobic and hydrophobic Tetratex™ ePTFE membrane equalizes pressure while protecting components from external contaminants like water, dirt and road salt.
• Proprietary Synteq XP™ coalescing pre-filter keeps oil aerosols from escaping allowing components to perform as intended.

• Hydrophobic technology allows vent to be located below a vehicle’s water fording line eliminating the need for complex hose routings.
