Overview
The DFA is designed to collect fumes from the welding field as they rise. The collector then returns filtered air near floor level to assist with air circulation. Multiple extractors can be placed throughout the manufacturing area to account for a wide variety of materials, piece sizes, and various weld locations requiring a different set-up.

Downflo Ambient represents a simple solution to a challenging problem: effective weld fume extraction without ductwork or hoods. The DFA gives you the ability to reorganize your weld stations or work areas without moving your weld fume extraction equipment.
Ultra-Web® Performance Media
Donaldson’s innovative Ultra-Web® media technology delivers long filter life and cost savings over the life of your collector. Made with an electrospinning process that produces a very fine, continuous, and resilient fiber of 0.2-0.3 micron in diameter, Ultra-Web forms a permanent fine fiber web with very fine interfiber spaces that trap dust on the surface of the media.
