Overview

These PES pleated cartridge filters feature an advanced Polyethersulfone membrane filter with an asymmetric, hydrophilic membrane filter structure that delivers high flow rates, reliable microbial retention, and long service life.

Constructed from durable polypropylene with pleated PES filter elements, they provide mechanical and thermal stability while meeting regulatory standards for food contact.

All components of PES Liquid Filter Cartridges meet US and EU requirements for Food Contact Use in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 21 and Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and subsequent amendments.

All materials used do not contain any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined in EC/1907/2006 and EC/65/2011.

LifeTec™ PES-WH Liquid Filter Elements

The LifeTec™ PES-WH filter element is a sterile-grade, pleated, highly asymmetric Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane filter for sterile filtration and microbial stabilization. Its hydrophilic PES membrane features a highly asymmetric pore structure with pore size that decreases toward the center, creating a highly porous medium that maintains consistent porosity and impurity retention throughout service life without shedding or unloading contaminants.

The PES-WH filter element’s highly asymmetric PES membrane is engineered for higher permeability and lower pressure drop compared to symmetric membranes; This design helps support contaminant loading and fouling management, which may contribute to longer service life across a wide range of liquid processing applications.
