Compressed Air Cooling Solutions

UFK-W Aftercooler

Water-Cooled Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger

The UFK-W aftercooler is an efficient, water-cooled heat-exchanger designed for installation directly downstream of compressors. Its epoxy-coated carbon steel housing withstands harsh conditions and reduces compressed air temperatures to approximately +10°C above the cooling water temperature, helping protect downstream equipment.

The UFK-W Aftercooler supports a wide range of system sizes with flow capacities from 150 to 11,000 m³/h (88 to 6,472 scfm), making it suitable for both standard and high-volume compressed air applications.

Main Features & Specifications

  • Designed for cooling compressed air or other fluids classified under PED 2014/68/EU group 2
  • High cooling efficiency with low pressure drop
  • Rated for up to 16 bar and +150°C
  • Flange connections and optional pipe reducers for flexible installation
  • Integrated drain ports for easy servicing

Applications

  • Industrial machinery and manufacturing
  • Automotive production
  • Electronics and food & beverage industries
  • Chemical processing and energy sectors

UFK-L Aftercooler

Air-Cooled Aftercooler for Compressed Air and Gases

The UFK-L aftercooler series provides efficient air-cooled compressed air cooling, removing bulk moisture directly after compression. This heat-exchanger lowers compressed air temperatures and helps protect downstream equipment. An integrated cyclone separator efficiently removes condensate.

UFK-L aftercoolers handle flow rates from 65 to 5,000 m³/h (38 to 8,495 scfm), offering flexibility for a wide range of applications.

Main Features & Specifications

  • Efficient cooling and bulk moisture removal
  • Compact design for easy integration
  • Integrated cyclone separator for effective condensate removal

Applications

  • Manufacturing and industrial compressed air systems
  • Electronics and precision equipment production
  • Automotive production facilities
  • Energy and process industries

Condensate Management Solutions

Ultrasep US

Oil Water Separator for Compressed Air Condensate

The Ultrasep US oil water separator separates oil and water from compressed air condensate, supporting responsible operations. High-performance oil separation filters reduce residual oil content to ≤ 10 mg/l (≤ 10 ppm), helping manage mineral, synthetic, and emulsified oils.

Available in six models covering 3.5 to 60 m³/min (124 to 2,119 scfm), capacity can be expanded with the optional flow distributor.

Main Features & Specifications

  • Separates mineral and synthetic lubricants and certain emulsions
  • Filter life indicator, sample test bottle, and overflow indicator provide performance control
  • Easy service and maintenance
  • Maximum oil content of 10 mg/l (10 ppm) on the clean water outlet under normal operating conditions
  • Multiple Ultrasep US separators can be connected for large flow capacity

Applications

  • Facilities requiring condensate disposal
  • Facilities operating under ISO 14001 environmental compliance programs
  •  Facilities supporting ISO 50001 Energy Management programs
