Donaldson's sterile air and gas filter housings are engineered to deliver high-purity filtration across critical applications in the food and beverage and pharmaceutical industries. We offer both non-sanitary and sanitary 3-A housings, both T-type and in-line housings. Housings are compatible with Donaldson's LifeTec™ sterile filter elements, ensuring reliable performance and compliance with stringent purity standards.


P-EG Sterile Air/Gas Filter Housings

Donaldson P-EG economical stainless steel housings are designed for the purification of compressed air and technical gases.

P-EG filter housings are designed to yield low differential pressure at high flow rates and accommodate a variety of connections including FNPT, ANSI flange, BSPF, EN flange, welded ends and many more. 

A broad selection of filter elements is available to meet the compatibility and micron rating requirements of your process.

PG-EG Sterile Air/Gas Filter Housings

Our PG-EG filter housings are made from high quality 316L stainless steel, designed to deliver low differential pressure at high flow rates, making them a flow efficient sterile air/gas filter housing solution for demanding processes. They are used for the purification of compressed air and technical gases when sanitary design is a requirement.

These sanitary housings are designed to meet the hygienic requirements of regulated industries, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology applications.

Housings are equipped with a variety of connection and surface finish options to meet most processes. Custom options available upon request.

PG-IL Process Filter Housings

Donaldson’s PG-IL filter housings are stainless steel, in-line filter housings for a variety of sanitary gas & liquid applications. The slim, compact design of PG-IL housings allows them to be installed in tight spaces and, when used in gas or liquid applications, either in a vertical or horizontal orientation.

  • BPE compliant, CRN and 3-A certified
  • Capacity up to 1101 m³/hr / 648 scfm for sterile air/gases
  • Available in 5 lengths - 5", 10", 20", 30", and 40"
  • Tri-Clamp® and ANSI Flange Connection Styles
  • 1/2", 1", 1½", and 2" Connection Sizes
  • Inner surface finish to an Ra 15, Outer Surface Finish to an Ra 32
  • 316L stainless steel is standard

P-BE Tank Vent Process Filter Housings

Donaldson P-BE tank vent filter housings are developed for sterile ventilation of stationary and mobile storage tanks used in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical and other industries.

The P-BE vent filter housings are typically used in conjunction with our P-SRF V process sterile air filter element to ensure sterile ventilation with very little pressure drop or air resistance.

The P-BE filter housing can also be used with other filter elements, such as the LifeTec™ PT N, a PTFE membrane cartridge, or the P-GSL N, a pleated stainless steel mesh cartridge, to meet your specific requirements.

  • 1 1/2 in. - 8 in. connections
  • Gas capacity of range 17 to 2,010 m³/h / 10 - 1,183 scfm
  • The P-BE tank vent filter is available in 12 sizes with a wide range of flow rates
  • Interior and exterior are polished to a smoothness of Ra 63
  • Multiple connection styles to fit any tank
