Donaldson's LifeTec™ polypropylene microfiber filter cartridge range features an advanced asymmetrical pleated depth media made from polypropylene microfiber. This design provides a graded pore structure, enhancing dirt-holding capacity and ensuring consistent filtration performance. The all-polypropylene construction offers broad chemical compatibility and low extractable levels, making these polypropylene pleated cartridges suitable for a wide range of fluids and applications, including use as a prefilter cartridge or as a pleated depth filter cartridge filter in critical processes.

Donaldson's polypropylene filter cartridges meet the EU and USA requirements for Food Contact Use in accordance with CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Title 21 and EC/1935/2004 and subsequent amendments. The filter element is manufactured in accordance with the GMP requirements as defined in EC/2023/2006, has no migration of filter media, is non-fiber releasing, and is thermally welded.

All materials used do not contain any Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined in EC/1907/2006 and EC/65/2011.

LifeTec™ PP 100 CN Liquid Filter Elements

The Donaldson LifeTec™ PP100 CN was specifically developed for maximum safety, performance, and economics in protecting bottled water and soft drinks from Cryptosporidium and Giardia contamination.

This polypropylene pleated liquid filter cartridge has been tested and approved per NSF Standard 53 as an absolute barrier to Cryptosporidium and Giardia in processed food and beverage applications.

The 1-micron absolute-rated PP Filter Cartridge pleated filter element provides unmatched filtration performance, while its rugged, all polypropylene construction ensures durability and chemical compatibility, helping this polypropylene pleated cartridge withstand everyday hydraulic challenges in bottling applications.

PP-Q Liquid Filter Elements

PP-Q filter elements deliver reliable nominal performance across a wide range of applications and industries. These high-quality polypropylene filter cartridges are manufactured in a white room environment to ensure consistent quality. All materials used in the PP-Q pleated sediment filter cartridges are compliant with FDA CFR Title 21 and meet USP Class VI plastics biological reactivity tests.

PP Filter Cartridges in the PP-Q series are produced in continuous 254 mm / 10 in. lengths and are available in all standard end cap configurations, making them compatible with a variety of systems.

Engineered for efficiency, these pleated depth filter cartridges significantly reduce particulate in process lines, helping to protect critical production equipment. Their pleated construction provides exponentially greater surface area than traditional melt-blown elements, resulting in higher dirt holding capacity, extended service life, and fewer changeouts.

PP100-HF Liquid Filter Elements

Donaldson PP100-HF filter elements deliver high-flow, absolute-rated filtration performance for a wide range of industrial and sanitary liquid applications.

These high-capacity polypropylene filter cartridges are engineered with a 152.4 mm / 6 in. outer diameter, enabling significantly higher throughput compared to standard 50.8–76.2 mm / 2–3 in. liquid filter cartridges. Available in 1016 mm / 40 in. and 1524 mm / 60 in. lengths, PP100-HF elements are designed for quick changeouts, featuring plug connection end caps and integrated handles for user-friendly maintenance.
