Overview

Helix Tubes are engineered to address key challenges in dust collection systems, including high dust loading, difficult-to-capture particles, and tight installation areas. With their spiral  design and high-efficiency media, these tubes provide a smart alternative to traditional bag and cage assemblies.

Donaldson Helix Tube filters are offered in two configurations to fit a variety of system layouts:

  • 42-tube cassette configuration
  • 16-tube rack configuration

These compact solutions are ideal for confined spaces and can be used as replacements for both Donaldson and non-Donaldson baghouse collector systems.

Each tube is constructed with a spunbond polyester substrate and an ePTFE membrane, which captures submicron dust particles (0.3 micron and larger). The surface-loading capability of the media promotes efficient dust release and supports consistent airflow.

Key Features

  • Configurable Options: Choose between a 16-tube cassette or 42-tube rack to meet your system needs.

  • Efficient Media Performance: The ePTFE membrane supports surface loading, captures fine particles, and promotes efficient dust release.

  • Long Filter Life: The tubular design design reduces the air-to-media ratio, helping to maintain low pressure drop over time.

  • Durable Construction: Inner support cores provide a rigid structure that resists tangling during installation and operation.

  • Submicron Particle Capture: Designed to filter particles as small as 0.3 microns for lower emissions and improved air quality.

  • Versatile Compatibility

  • Rack configuration: Suitable replacement for Dalamatic bag and cage filter assemblies

  • Cassette configuration: Compatible with AAF Design M Fabripulse baghouse collectors

Designed for Compatibility

Helix Tubes are designed to be drop-in replacements for a range of dust collection systems, making them a flexible choice for both Donaldson and non-Donaldson equipment. This compatibility allows you to upgrade performance without the need for extensive system modifications.
