Overview
Donaldson’s Ultrapure Smart ALG and Ultrapure HL-ALG breathing air systems combine advanced filtration and adsorption technologies in compact, modular designs. These solutions provide reliable breathing air treatment to remove moisture, particulates, oil aerosols, oil vapor, CO, CO₂, NOx, SO₂, and odors – helping you comply with critical standards such as Pharmacopée Européenne, DIN EN 12021 or USP 29-NF24 for both medical air and industrial breathing air systems.
Key purification stages include:
1. Pre-Filtration with UltraPleat™ Filter Technology – Removes coarse and fine particles, oil aerosols, and moisture to help protect downstream components.
2. Drying Stage with Adsorption Technology – Achieves pressure dewpoints as low as -40°C/-40°F and helps reduce CO₂, SO₂, and NOx levels.
3. Activated Carbon Adsorption – Removes oil vapors, hydrocarbons, and odors to support improved air purity.
4. OX Catalyst – Converts carbon monoxide (CO) into carbon dioxide (CO₂), supporting compliance with strict air quality requirements.

Designed for compact installations and low flow demands, the Ultrapure Smart ALG breathing air system provides reliable breathing air treatment with flow rates from 5 to 100 m³/h (3 to 60 scfm) at 7 bar g (100 psig). This fully integrated, plug-and-play breathing air purifier is an ideal choice for environments requiring small to medium air volumes.

The Ultrapure HL-ALG breathing air system is built for operations requiring continuous, medium- to high-volume purified air. With flow capacities from 100 to 1,000 m³/h (60 to 600 scfm) at 7 bar g (100 psig), it provides reliable breathing air quality even under challenging environmental conditions, including high humidity and temperatures.
