Donaldson’s Renewable Energy Transition Gains Momentum with Sequoia Solar Project

Donaldson joined Enbridge and other partners in Callahan County, Texas, to celebrate the completion of Phase One of the Sequoia Solar project, a major milestone in scaling renewable energy infrastructure. The initial phase began delivering electricity in early 2026, and the operational milestone was recognized at the ribbon-cutting event. Through a Virtual Power Purchase Agreement (VPPA), Donaldson has secured access to renewable electricity equivalent to more than 90% of its U.S. electricity usage, making this our largest renewable energy investment to date. Phase One of the project delivers about 400 MW of solar capacity, with Phase Two expected to bring total capacity to 815 MW—positioning Sequoia as one of the largest solar projects in North America. Our VPPA for the Sequoia Solar project is part of a multi-partner collaboration led by Enbridge, with corporate participants. This project is the cornerstone of Donaldson’s decarbonization strategy and enables us to make significant progress toward our fiscal year 2030 GHG emissions reduction goal. It reflects our broader approach of combining energy efficiency, on-site solar, and renewable energy procurement to achieve our ambition of an absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% relative to a fiscal year 2021 baseline. Overall, Sequoia Solar represents a meaningful step forward in translating our sustainability ambitions into tangible impact.

Donaldson Completes Acquisition of Facet Filtration

We are delighted to share that Donaldson has officially completed the acquisition of Facet following the fulfillment of all closing conditions and regulatory approvals. With more than 80 years of experience, Facet is a globally respected company in fuel and fluid filtration solutions for highly demanding applications. The business brings together over 230 dedicated employees across seven countries and serves customers primarily in Aerospace and Defense, Power Generation, and Hydraulics. Donaldson and Facet are united by a shared ambition to deliver innovative, high quality filtration products supported by outstanding service. This acquisition represents an important step in accelerating the growth of Donaldson’s Industrial Solutions.
